After several cancellations due to the pandemic, we were invited to The Sanctuary in Jefferson, IA for a Sponsorship Sunday by their pastor, JB Hinote in May of 2021. The night before, we were treated to a home-made meal as the elders of the church shared their passion for missions and for Ethiopia. The next morning, we were allowed as much time as we needed during The Sanctuary worship service to share our story and our mission. Many enthusiastic sponsors came forward to support our students and shortly thereafter, The Sanctuary began sending regular monthly support for our schools in Hosanna and Ottoro. In addition, The Sanctuary is planning to visit our schools and conduct a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the community of Ottoro. Pastor JB Hinote visited the Adams Thermal Academies in February of 2020 and was deeply moved to come back and help make a difference for the children and the families we serve.
