We've always promised that 100% of sponsor or donor gifts will go directly to our Ethiopian students in Hosanna and Ottoro. But the reality is that we actually send more than 100% of our gifts each month. Often it's double or even more than that - in excess of 200% of what we receive.

There's more than 1,200 at-risk students enrolled at Adams Thermal Academies, but a little more than 800 of those students are sponsored. So who makes up the difference so that every classroom can be full? Who covers all the administrative costs of the Foundation? It's a company . . . Adams Thermal Systems in Canton, SD, population 3,560. It's a company that manufactures cooling parts for diesel engines. It's a company whose sales and profits are often impacted by the farm economy. And it's also a company that was hit hard by the pandemic.

Through the years, Adams Thermal Systems has kept our schools in Ethiopia running despite commodity prices, tariffs and ag machinery markets. Our friends and our child sponsors have faithfully given each month and then the company quietly added to those gifts every month, regardless of whether sales were up or down.

This year, we've been trusting in the Lord to keep the schools going - more so than ever before. Our partners and friends have helped us to pay the teachers and provide nutrition to the children while we all have waited for the economy to recover. We've asked our team in Ethiopia to make the best use of every dollar and to develop school re-opening plans that will keep students safe despite the added cost. And we're praying that God would favor us once again with his "daily bread" for the children and families that we serve.

We've seen evidence of our sales recovering and we just started hiring again. But that extra measure that the company has always added for Ethiopia is still a long-time coming. We don't know what tomorrow holds. But we know who holds our tomorrows. If you're a child sponsor or a friend of the Foundation, would you pray with us for continued provision?

If the Lord has blessed your resources despite the pandemic, would you consider a planned year-end gift? As always, 100% of your gifts will go directly to the students and school operations in Ethiopia. If you're struggling because of the pandemic, please know that our team is praying for you - your health and your provision. God is faithful.

In the next week or so, you'll be receiving our year-in-review newsletter. Please take the time to look it over and give thanks for all the ways we have been truly blessed in 2020. It is with tremendous gratitude that we sincerely thank you for your love, prayers and support. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever (Psalm 100: 4-5).
