From Begging to Building a Future: Selam’s Story

In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, MKA Ministry is making a lasting impact through weekly outreach and vocational training.

Meet Selam, a single mother of three who once begged on the streets to feed her children. But after attending our homeless outreach and giving her life to Christ, her story took a beautiful turn.

Now, thanks to MKA Ministry and partners, Selam and her kids have a safe place to live. She’s learning hairstyling skills, no longer begs, and supports her family by offering laundry and house-cleaning services. She’s also growing in faith through our discipleship program!

We praise God for His faithful work in Selam’s life, bringing hope and restoration where there was once despair.
